It's just another pair of affordable in ears. Ugh, Stuff has gotten stale these days... WRONG!

I could too...

Working on assumptions isn’t always fruitful. If we did that, we wouldn’t discover half the products that seem underwhelming, but are actually the winning underdogs. The narrative applies here too with the Ikodoo Buds One.

When you first lay eyes on them, they are seemingly boring and deceptive. It’s a very standard outer shell, oval, white and bland to the eye. The fact that it costs less than ₨5K lowers our expectation further.

Pop them in your ears and they seem very comfortable. They do feel slightly heavier than something like the Mivi DuoPods, but seem familiar to the Oppo Enco X in terms of comfort and fit. You do get various eartips in the box, so you can select one that fits you best.

We used Apple Music mostly via the Google Pixel 7 Pro and the Ikodoo Buds One immediately made it clear that they are no ordinary buds. We start with Rockstar by Post Malone and were impressed with the amount of control the Buds One have on the bass.

It does not envelope other frequencies and is controlled with the right amount of thump! Play Boat by Ed Sheeran and you hear a layered rendition of his voice laid out in balance and control! All that at this level is impressive.
