What started off as a design update with the Model 30 integrated amplifier has now turned into the "family look" of Marantz electronics and we aren't complaining! The subtly textured front panel gets a floating faceplate and has an ambient LED glow emanating from its sides to create a warm yet modern aesthetic that is becoming a signature look for Marantz. The tiny porthole-type display on the front panel harks back to vintage Marantz amplifiers but behind the front flap hides another two-line display to help you get set-up even without connecting it to a video source.

Traditionally, AV Receivers were so called due to the inclusion of tuners, but in 2024, they need to really put on a show to lure potential mates. The Cinema 40 comes fully cooked on the HEOS multi-room streaming platform so wired or wireless, it will connect to Amazon Music, Spotify, Tidal, Roon or Apple Music via AirPlay 2.
