This was one topic at the AWS re:Inforce2024 security conference in Philadelphia, where industry leaders and experts gathered to discuss various security aspects and the importance of preventative, detective, and corrective measures in maintaining trust. Chris, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Amazon Web Services (AWS), in his opening keynote, spoke about 7 reasons for security focus at AWS, and other leaders and AWS solution architects underscored the necessity of establishing ‘sensible guardrails’ and providing ‘solid training’ to ensure accurate and timely security feedback. The customer session had Ash Edmondson, AVP Security Architecture and Engineering at Eli Lilly, talking about building trust.
