Avast, the free and paid-for antivirus brand of worldwide renown, is part of the Gen Digital group, which now also owns the Avira, AVG and Norton brands. We've also reviewed Norton's VPN on p90, which uses a different infrastructure (as does Avira Phantom VPN), but it would have been pointless to review AVG Secure VPN as it's exactly the same product as Avast SecureLine except with different branding on the client.
