TOMB RAIDER: LEGACY OF ATLANTIS

When Crystal Dynamics announced it was remaking the original Tomb Raider, I nearly ragdolled off my sofa from PTSD. Tomb Raider is a classic, but its horrendous jumping controls have aged like milk from 1996. A full remake with controls that don’t actively hate the player is a pretty irresistible proposition.

Even if it is being made in Unreal Engine 5, which many PC gamers would like to bury in a tomb themselves. We haven't so much been burned by Unreal Engine 5 releases on PC as we've had our houses torched, so let's hope it's got its act together.

Crystal Dynamics has remade this game before. With assistance from Croft co-creator Toby Gard, it made 2007's excellent Tomb Raider Anniversary. Now there was a remake done right. It smartly remixed puzzles and set-pieces and gave Lara a smoother,
