|August 2025
India's smart factories are no longer a distant vision; rather, they are here and growing fast. This shift is ignited by smart automation blending robotics, Al/ML, IoT, digital twins, and cloud systems to enhance agility and precision. Anil Kumar, Managing Director of Inovance Technology India, shares, “We are proud to support this transformation by equipping Indian OEMs with world-class automation and motion control solutions.”

Could you walk us through the automation solutions you've deployed and the value they've brought to your production line?
We have implemented a wide range of automation solutions in India, such as servo drives, PLCs, HMIs, and complete motion control systems. Our EtherCAT-based servo drives have been transformative for the packaging, textile, and electronics sectors. It delivers microsecond-level communication and real-time feedback for better synchronisation and throughput.
For example, one of our recent projects involved a paint container filling line, where we integrated our motion controllers and high-performance servo systems. The result was a fully synchronised, high-speed packaging solution with improved fill accuracy, reduced waste, and significant downtime reduction. Our robotic portfolio, including SCARA and 6-axis robots, is being deployed in industries where precision assembly, pick-and-place, and repetitive tasks require speed and consistency.
What are the key environmental and operational challenges Indian manufacturers face when implementing robotics and automation?
