I did not expect to be impressed by a ₹12K smartphone in 2025. Yet the Poco C85 5G managed to punch well above its weight during my daily use.

This is one of those budget phones that makes you rethink value.

BUILD AND DESIGN

When I first picked up the Poco C85 5G, the Spring Green colour immediately stood out. The dual tone back and curved body give it a fresh, youthful look that honestly feels more premium than its price suggests. Yes, it is a plastic phone and you do feel that the moment you touch it, but it still feels sturdy and well built. At just 7.99 mm thick and around 205 grams, I was surprised by how slim and balanced it feels despite the massive battery inside.
