A BOLD MID-RANGE STATEMENT
Exhibit
|April 2025
At first glance, the Nothing Phone 3a may seem like a modest update over the 2a, but dig deeper, and it becomes clear this is a meaningful upgrade. Let's take a look at whether it's worth its ₹24,999 price tag.
DESIGN AND DISPLAY
Design-wise, the Phone 3a retains the brand's signature transparent rear, now slightly bulkier with the inclusion of a telephoto camera. At 201g, it's a hefty device and not for those who prefer compact phones. However, it's undeniably striking — especially in white with the contrasting red accents and signature Glyph interface, which remains unchanged (and still effective).
The 6.77-inch AMOLED screen is crisp and vibrant, offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3000 nits. HDR10+ support is present, though Dolby Vision is missing, as is Gorilla Glass, replaced by the less-durable Panda Glass. The speakers get loud and maintain decent clarity.
