From microservices to metadata and GenAl to governance, Hoonartek's journey is a blueprint for building future-ready integration. CEO Peeyoosh Pandey decodes the company's agile strategy for staying relevant in a world that reinvents itself daily
Fifteen years ago, the seeds of Hoonartek were sown with a simple but bold realisation: enterprise data integration needed serious fixing. Peeyoosh Pandey, CEO of Hoonartek, walked us through this journey from serving a single bank to becoming a global integration powerhouse of nearly 1,000 professionals, working across BFSI, telecom, healthcare and more. But this isn't a story about scale. It's about staying relevant. And in today's AI-first world, relevance is hard-won.
A name born from skill, a vision built on need
The company's name carries its DNA. 'Hoonar' means skill. 'Tek' tips the hat to precision, much like German engineering. The logo, an infinity sign, is a nod to delivering outcomes in a continuous loop of learning and evolution. The early days were about solving the complexity that large-scale data platforms often brought but rarely resolved. From that challenge emerged a company focused on three key verticals:
Data: end-to-end delivery, governance, AI
Digital: especially for telcos and BFSIs
Product engineering: for both enterprises and ISVs
Today, this foundation supports a global operation, still grounded in the simple principle it began with get things done, and do them better.
Data-first, but not dogmatic
