NEWCASTLE may be bottom of the Premiership again, but Alan Dickens has no regrets about joining Steve Diamond's revolution in the north-east.
Dickens spent nine years on Northampton's coaching roster, the club where he finished his playing career in 2010, before taking charge of England Under-20s for four years.
He then joined Leicester as attack coach last season under Dan McKellar, but ended up on gardening leave after a few months and Diamond made his move in the summer.
"I have known Steve since I was a player in 2001 and was fortunate to work with him at Saracens," said Dickens.
"I know him well and this is my favourite job since my early years at Northampton.
