Easter prepares to help US take on England

FORMER England No.8 Nick Easter is preparing to face his fellow countrymen from the other side of the touchline this summer, as his USA Eagles take on Steve Borthwick’s team in a match that has already captured the imagination of American fans.
Since July 2023, Easter who is Chinnor’s director of rugby — has also been coaching the USA as forwards and defence coach and is looking forward to going up against familiar foes on July 19 in Washington, DC, at a packed-out Audi Field, which has a capacity of 20,000.
While the USA, currently ranked 15th in the world, are under no illusions about the size of the task ahead, Easter insists the experience of playing world No.6 England will be invaluable for his players and for the continued growth of the sport in America.
