Dombrandt hoping for Quins link

ALEX Dombrandt would relish the chance to play alongside his team-mates in an all-Harlequins England back row this summer.
Including Chandler Cunningham-South, who is in the final stages of rehabbing a calf injury, Dombrandt is one of seven Quins players to be selected for the training squad for the tour to Argentina and USA.
While Cunningham-South and Dombrandt look strong contenders to play six and eight, Jack Kenningham’s chances of being the starting openside increased once Sam Underhill was slapped with a four-week ban, which could rule him out of one or two of the matches.
For Dombrandt, it would be the perfect ending to what has been, in his own words, a “challenging season”. The 28-year-old from Surrey broke his hand in the opening game of the season against Sale Sharks and then sat out the entire Six Nations campaign, while Quins missed out on the play-offs.
“It has probably been one of my most challenging seasons if I am being honest,” he admitted.
