TONY VANCE admits Guernsey were hurt by their relegation to the Southern Combination League but says he is a “realist” and will temper expectations of coming straight back up to Step 4.
Despite a late resurgence, the Green Lions fell one place and one point short of safety in Isthmian South Central. The first demotion in the 14-year-old club’s history saw them sent to the predominantly Sussex-based Southern Combination at Step 5 for 2025-26 for the first time.
