LYNTON Goss' double earned Leighton a vital victory over Beaconsfield at Holloways Park.
The game began with Leighton creating a couple of good chances and having a number of early corners.
Beaconsfield quickly grew into the game and were denied the opener when Manu Oke-William's header crashed against the crossbar.
It looked like it would be a tightly fought game, with the battle in midfield being crucial.
Both teams created further chances as the first half progressed, including a notable effort from Beaconsfield's Troy Silvera, whose shot went inches wide of a post.
