Cowan's on a rollercoaster ride
"I've not been off the phone, at all," the Brackley Town chief told The NLP amid a hive of transfer activity of St James' Park.
“The day after we won the league last season, I had a nice quiet day with friends and family, with a few drinks and a barbecue in the garden. Since then, however, the phone has not stopped ringing.
“I did have some time away with the family in Florida, which was great, but one minute I was on a rollercoaster, the next I'm talking to an agent, then I'm on another rollercoaster, then I'm talking to a player! Agents and players will have been wondering why I was out of breath all the time!”
