Rovers denied by resilient Shots

DISAPPOINTED Steve Cotterill believes that his side had enough chances to beat Aldershot Town after dropping two points in their title quest.
Charlie McCann's strike within a minute of the second half cancelled out Ryan Jones' opener for Aldershot at the very end of the first to ensure parity at The New Lawn.
But with victory enough to take Rovers joint top of the table, Cotterill insists it was an opportunity missed.
"My feelings are one of disappointment really because I thought we should have been 3-0 up," Cotterill said. "We had a few chances in the first half that on any other given day they go in and that gets you up and running.
"I wouldn't be able to repeat where I was at halftime, but they are a good honest set of lads.
