Matt Yates produced two fine saves in added time while goalscorer Lufudu was wide with an effort in a pulsating climax as he repeatedly cut in from the right.
He even created a chance for Feyi Afaudpe but the Ilkeston defence closed around the 88th minute substitute.
Most of the drama was packed into those final minutes as the teams showed why they are playoff contenders in front of a crowd of 629.
It left Guiseley keeper Joe Cracknell saying: “In the end we took a good point.
