The Tigers reached the playoff semi-final last season in their first campaign back at the level.

Craig Parry’s side were beaten by Macclesfield, who went onto lose to Marine in the final.

Former Lincoln City, Stevenage, FC Halifax, Boston and York City frontman Burrow says there’s no disguising what they want to achieve this season – but knows nothing is given.

“The aim this year is, obviously, to go one better than last year – we’re not going to hide the fact we want to better what we did last year,” Burrow said.

“We lost in the play-off semi-final, which was disappointing. But, for the first time in the league, getting to the play-off semi-final, accompanied with winning the Sheffield & Hallam Senior Cup, I think you’ve got to look at it as a successful season.
