NEW Coleshill Town boss Harry Harris happily waited to find the right chairman now his biggest battle will be with his own impatience.
Harris returns to the dugout 15 months after being sacked months into a planned rebuild of Hednesford Town.
He took that job having led Walsall Wood to the Midland Football League title in his first management gig but while he missed it, Harris resisted the urge to jump straight back on the merry-go-round and believes his appointment at Pack Meadow has vindicated that approach.
"I only applied for two jobs," he told The NLP. "One of them went with a manager that was there previously, with the other I was told by the previous manager that I'd got it. Others came up but I didn’t go for them.
“Having time out has been good. I have done coaching courses and watched a lot of games, I was in no rush to get back in.
