Burke latest off Seals' production line
CHESTER PROUD manager Calum Mclntyre is convinced Harrison Burke can shine in the Football League — after becoming the latest academy graduate off the Chester production line to make the jump.
The 22-year-old centre-back had made the switch to League Two Walsall on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
In truth, his move came as no great surprise after a stellar campaign which saw Burke weigh in with 13 goals in 52 appearances as the Seals made the National League North play-off final.
"His big strength is that he likes to move his ceiling," McIntyre told The NLP. "He knows what he's good at and strives to be the best. His personality is obsessed with improvement.
"That means it would be totally inappropriate to put a ceiling on him. He's a combative, all-action defender who is very good in both boxes and more than chips in with his fair share of goals.
