Perhaps that’s no surprise given the pair were only separated by goal difference before kick-off after Dulwich’s 3-0 away loss at Hendon.

This was a scrappy opening and despite injury-hit Hamlet seeing more of the ball, it was the visitors who created better early chances.

Brandon Adams hit the outside of the post before then firing over when well-placed to do better.

It seemed the first-half would end goalless, but as the fourth official indicated two minutes of added time, the hosts were ahead.
