Popular boss is leaving his Mark at Guiseley again
GUISELEY manager Mark Bower is hopeful the good times are on their way back to Nethermoor Park as they battle for promotion in NPL Premier.
Bower returned to the club for a second spell in April last year after a successful three-year stint from 2013 to 2016, when he took the Lions to the top tier of Non-League football.
A slightly underwhelming start saw the Lions pick up only four points from the opening four games but they soon found their feet including pushing Stevenage all the way in the FA Cup.
Bower's side are currently 15 matches unbeaten with their last defeat being a 2-1 reverse at home to Matlock Town back in September.
And Bower said he has been pleasantly surprised with the progress of his team this season.
"We are currently ahead of where my expectations were at the start," Bower, 44, told The NLP.
