Mindset so crucial for Tom at Blades
ROOKIE boss Tom Cleverley has urged his Watford troops to bring a 'superior mindset' to this afternoon's big showdown at Sheffield United.
The former Manchester United and England midfielder could hardly have scripted a better opening month of the campaign for his side, surprise early Championship front-runners alongside Sunderland.
A dramatic 3-2 win at Millwall on opening day with Mileta Rajovic netting a late winner after the Lions had fought back from 2-0 down - gave the Hornets the perfect start.
Two home league wins have since followed 3-0 against Stoke and 2-1 versus Derby while Watford have also beaten MK Dons (5-0) and Plymouth (2-0) at Vicarage Road in the Carabao Cup.
It's five wins on the spin in league and cup, but cynics will probably say the Hertfordshire club haven't been fully put to the test yet. Taking on unbeaten Sheffield United at Bramall Lane will undoubtedly do that.
