HERITAGE WATCH WITH A MODERN HEART

Omega revives its 1957 Railmaster with a fresh, minimalist design and powerful anti-magnetic tech made for modern life.
If you're in the market for a watch that brings together history, clean design, and impressive engineering, Omega’s latest release might just be your next obsession. The Swiss watchmaker is bringing back one of its classics — the Railmaster — with fresh new updates that blend vintage style and modern innovation.
A brief history lesson: The Railmaster was launched in 1957, alongside Omega’s now-legendary Speedmaster and Seamaster. While the Speedmaster was built for racing drivers and the Seamaster for divers, the Railmaster was made for people working in high-magnetic environments: Think railway workers, engineers, and scientists. Back then, magnetism could mess with the accuracy of mechanical watches, but the Railmaster could resist magnetic fields up to 1,000 gauss, which was way ahead of its time. Most other watches only handled about 60 gauss.
