Jordan Giles (Richardsons TrekDAS) drew first blood in the new road racing season, winning the Portsdown Classic after working well with two breakaway companions before attacking on the last lap and taking a solo victory.
Formerly the Perfs Pedal Race, the Portsdown Classic used the same Hampshire roads and provided early season drama as the cream of the British road scene grabbed their first chance to test their fitness.
