Ribble launches Collective team of privateer riders

Ribble Cycles' new project sees the brand provide backing to a diverse group of riders across all disciplines
Bike manufacturer Ribble has launched a new team of privateer riders across all cycling disciplines. The Ribble Collective is a first of its kind within the UK domestic scene.
Ribble says the new team will provide a home to a group of “like-minded riders all sharing a true love of cycling”.
The aim of the project is for riders that make up the team to be able to set out and achieve their own cycling goals across a diverse range of events. So far, riding plans include UK-based races, as well as the Unbound gravel race in the USA and the Rift gravel race in Iceland.
The new group of riders takes over where UCI registered team RibbleWeldtite left off, and signals a shift in focus. “For 2023, we had the vision to look at the cycling landscape creatively and introduce this new model, allowing us to work in close collaboration with each individual rider and support them to achieve their own riding goals as well as telling their own unique story on two wheels,” head of brand marketing Neil Pinkawa said.
