The best thing about skaven isn't that they're scheming, disgusting, or numberless; it's that they're annoying. In a fantasy world of dragon-riding elves, floating toad wizards, and actual gods, it's amazing to think that the chittering rats are the biggest threat to order. The first Vermintide game shows them at their chittering, countless best; the challenge with the sequel, then, is keeping them compelling.
