One player is the miner and the other is the beast. The board represents the beast's stomach, with spaces numbered 1-7 for stomach cards. On his turn, the miner rolls three dice and assigns them in any combination to his five actions. Most actions will affect stomach cards on the board, such as moving or discarding them. A die's result will determine which card it can target with an action. One action allows the miner to capture a crystal shown on a stomach card. There are eight crystals, and the miner can only have one copy of each. If he collects them all, he wins the game. Another action is upgrade, which allows the miner to unlock new versions of most of the abilities.
