The lens covers very useful focal lengths from ultra-wide to wideangle and is most suitable for landscapes and weddings. The lens is available in Sony E-mount as well as L-mount. We received the Sony E-mount lens for this review.
Design & Build Quality
The Sigma 16-28 mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens is beautifully crafted and looks every bit a pro lens. The outer body uses strong, lightweight materials, including TSC (Thermally Stable Composite) which is a kind of polycarbonate offering similar thermal contraction rate as that of aluminum.
