RAGI HOT CHOCOLATE (3 servings)
INGREDIENTS
- 2 tbsp ragi flour (finger millet flour)
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 tbsp sugar (or jaggery powder)
- 20 gm dark chocolate (roughly 2 small squares)
- ½ cup water
PREPARATION GUIDE
- Mix ragi flour and water in a bowl. Whisk well to make a smooth, lump-free slurry.
- Transfer the slurry to a saucepan and cook over low heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously, until it has slightly thickened.
- Pour in 2 cups of milk slowly, stirring to mix. Add cocoa powder and whisk until smooth.
- Add sugar (or jaggery powder) and dark chocolate. Whisk until the chocolate melts and the mix is silky.
- Let it simmer on low heat for 2 minutes. Pour and serve in mugs.
