Globe, CANVAS turn safer Internet Day into a family conversation on Al, online safety

In celebration of Safer Internet Day 2026, Globe Telecom joined forces with Center for Art, New Ventures and Sustainable Development (CANVAS) to bring families closer to the conversation on artificial intelligence and online safety through an immersive learning experience at the National Museum of Fine Arts.

Titled The Secret Digital Map: Exploring AI and Online Safety for Families, the interactive session gathered children, parents, and educators for a morning of storytelling, guided discussions, and hands-on activities designed to make digital concepts easier to understand.
The event forms part of Globe's year-long collaboration with CANVAS at the National Museum, anchored on the children's book Safe Space: A Kid's Guide to Data Privacy.
By weaving art and narrative into the program, organizers created a welcoming space where families could explore how AI appears in everyday life and how simple choices can help keep personal data safe.
