As June is National Microchipping Month, vet charity, PDSA is sharing top tips for keeping pets safe and what to do should your pet be lost or stolen.

- with PDSA vet nurse Nina Downing

We encourage all pet owners to microchip their pets and keep personal details up to date with the relevant microchip database.

It’s a legal requirement for cats to be microchipped in England and dogs to be microchipped across the UK. While it’s not a legal requirement, you can also get your rabbits microchipped.

Alongside all the other health benefits, neutering reduces the risk your pet will wander off in search of a mate where they could get lost or in an accident.
