Graeme Armstrong holds the record for most Scottish League appearances, including 391 for Meadowbank and 268 for Stenhousmuir. Making his debut in 1975, he played his last game aged 44 for Alloa in May 2001.

Frank Lampard is the fourth player to make more than 600 Premier League appearances, of which 429 were for Chelsea.
