'Surprising' new musical celebrates indie band The Wedding Present

A band that have been a key part of the music scene in Leeds and beyond since the 1980s take centre stage in a new musical.
Reception: The Wedding Present Musical, written and directed by Matt Aston, features the songs of David Gedge, the band's only constant member.
It will be staged at The Warehouse, in Holbeck, Slung Low, Leeds, from August 22 to September 6. The show's premiere coincides with the 40th anniversary of The Wedding Present and their debut single Go Out and Get 'Em Boy.
