Father of two daughters

Me and the Boss have just got back from a sun-kissed week away together in Tenerife.

Here are a few things we learned while we were out there:

1. Warm, sweet sea air is medicine; especially when you live on a rain-lashed, mean-spirited little island in the middle of nowhere that's in darkness for six months of the year.

2. You don't appreciate just how much you enjoy food that you don't have to buy, transport home and then cook yourself just about every day of your life until someone else (the staff at your hotel) does it for you.
