For the non-chocoholics, Dubai chocolate was the hot trend for a brief window back in spring as kids went racing around the shops trying to find an elusive bar to spend their life savings on.

It was the sort of confectionary gold rush not seen since Willy Wonka slipped shiny tickets under the wrapper of his bars and turned the idea into two hit movies.
The treat itself was a chocolate bar with a pistachio cream filling hiding a crunch within and was nice enough but not really worth the stampede.
Let's face it, with temperatures which melt humans never mind chocolate bars, Dubai has its work cut out to rival Switzerland as the next home of fine confectionery.
