Scented rooms offer users more a whiff of danger!

We've got a new coffee machine. At least I think that's what it is. So complicated are the instructions that I'm not sure if we're striving for the perfect cuppa or enriching uranium.

A lot of it is to do with the bean grind, apparently.

Too coarse a grind, and the water flows with unnecessary haste over the bean particles and fails to absorb enough flavour, leaving a weak almost acidic taste to the coffee.

Too fine a grind, and the machine will explode killing all within a 200m radius. Which is why it's so important to get it right. I've left it to my current life-partner to sort.

Nothing is simple these days as we strive for the perfect existence, as prescribed by people with something to sell.
