More than 100,000 working-age people in Leeds were classed as 'economically inactive' last year, the latest figures suggest.

It comes as the unemployment rate increased across the UK, showing great regional disparities.
Figures from the Office for National Statistics show 132,828 (25.7 per cent) of the 544,020 working-age people in Leeds were economically inactive in the year to June.
