Firefighter Nicola takes on fitness challenge

A West Yorkshire firefighter is preparing to take on one of the most gruelling fitness challenges in the world - breaking the Guinness World Record for the most chest-to-floor burpees completed in 24 hours - a record currently standing at a massive 8,321.

Nicola Leah who serves with Illingworth Red Watch will attempt the record next month in a bid to raise funds for the Fire Fighters Charity - she was inspired to raise the funds for the charity after seeing the good work they do to help fellow firefighters, especially in the wake of the tragic firefighter deaths in Bicester this year.
