Defence of Cup crown intact as Gospel remains unbeatable

Leeds Knights ensured the defence of their NIHL National Cup crown remains in place after reaching the semifinals with victory at Basingstoke Bison.
A little over 10 days ago, the Knights were far from sure of being in the last four, needing to win their final two Cup games to stand any chance.
A 4-1 win at Swindon Wildcats-which also cut the gap in the league standings on the Wiltshire-based leaders - put the Knights into a promising position but still needing two points in Hampshire on Sunday.
