There's a new superhero roving round - Dog Man, half dog and half man, he is sworn to protect and serve as he doggedly pursues the feline supervillain Petey the Cat.

Dim-witted police officer Knight, voiced by Peter Hastings, and fiercely intelligent pet dog Greg are victims of a ticking time bomb set by cat master criminal Petey, Pete Davidson, at the conveniently signposted Abandoned Expendable Warehouse.

Hospital staff enact a hare-brained idea to save the badly injured heroes: surgically attach the head of the four-legged companion to the body of his human master.
