Each edition is, according to Netflix's press office, 'ripped from the headlines', and focuses on an outlandish real-life story that is stranger than fiction. Tales recounted during the past month include the disastrous term in office of Toronto mayor Rob Ford, a luxury cruise that turned out to be anything but, and a birthday that spiralled out of control. All are still available on the platform, while the latest examines a group of mothers whose lives were chartered in a previous documentary after they set up a private investigation agency. It looked like being a big hit, until their cases began to collapse amid allegations of sabotage and an illegal drug plot.
