Wild Cards (Paramount+, from September 15) Giacomo Gianniotti is back for a second run of this US-Canadian crime drama with attitude in which he plays Cole Ellis.

When we first met him, his days as a high-flying detective appeared to be long gone due to a demotion; instead, he was spending his time carrying out routine tasks or hanging out on his boat with his cat - until he was assigned to escort charismatic con woman Max Mitchell (Vanessa Morgan) to jail.

The pair ended up working together to crack a case, after which they were offered a chance at redemption if they continued as an effective crime-busting duo. This time, Ellis has to deal with the fact that Max betrayed him at the end of the previous run.
