Sardar Jai Krishan Singh Rouri, Deputy Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha and MLA from Garhshankar Constituency, today dedicated a solar power system to Moranwali village, District Hoshiarpur — the maternal (Nanka) village of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, situated in his constituency.Addressing the gathering, Rouri recalled that after the historic swearing-in of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann at Khatkar Kalan, the government initiated a series of public interest projects.

He said, “When our government was formed, the Chief Minister had said that the day is not far when people from all over would come to see the maternal village of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh.
