AIIMS Bilaspur pioneers statewide emergency response training with national life support course

All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Bilaspur has taken a transformative leap in strengthening Himachal Pradesh’s emergency healthcare infrastructure by successfully conducting the prestigious National Emergency Life Support (NELS) - Training of Trainers (ToT) Cowse for paramedics from June 19 to 21. Organized under the aegis of the Department of Emergency Medicine, JPN Apex Trauma Centre, AIIMS New Delhi — a WHO Collaborating Centre for Emergency and Trauma Care — the initiative was coordinated through the Disaster Management Cell, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govemment of India.
