Law stars taste medal success

Law and District AAC athletes have won medals in several recent competitions.

Under-17 Johann Gillon won silver in hammer at the Scottish Schools’ Championships at Grangemouth, qualifying her to represent Scottish Schools at the Schools International, against England, Ireland and Wales, in Derby this month.
Also selected was U17 Erin McGurk, after winning bronze in the 300m at the same competition in Grangemouth.
Still at Grangemouth, U15 Roisin McClelland won gold in javelin, U20 Owen Murphy won gold in 200m and silver in 100m.
U17 Cameron Chambers won bronze in 800m, U17 Lauren McNair won bronze in 100m, and U15 Cara Murphy finished third in the mixed ambulatory 100m and 200m, and was first girl to finish both races.
Johann Gillon was fourth in shot put, and Lauren McNair was fourth in 200m.
