Wimmer prepares for life without Lennon
Motherwell boss Michael Wimmer admits he’s preparing for life without Lennon Miller after their final game of the season at Ross County on Sunday.
The 18-year-old from Wishaw is widely expected to have played his last game at Fir Park in the 3-0 win over 10-man Kilmarnock on Wednesday night, and he was substituted in 88 minutes to afford him a standing ovation from most of the 4941 crowd.
Miller has been linked with a life-changing move to several top European clubs, and Wimmer admitted he needs to accept that the club's prized asset will probably move on.
