Local MP full of praise for world-leading SW firm
Western Morning News
|August 28, 2025
A DEVON MP has praised a world-leading manufacturing firm in his constituency, after visiting its offices and factory.

Richard Foord, Liberal Democrat MP for Honiton & Sidmouth, visited Peco Model Railways this month to witness firsthand how the British manufacturer is expanding its operations both at home and abroad, as it approaches its 80th anniversary.
Founded in 1946 by Sydney Pritchard and now in its third generation of family ownership, Peco is currently the world's largest manufacturer of model railway track. All of its products, including track systems, kits and model scenery, are designed, engineered and produced entirely in the UK, at its factory in Beer, East Devon.
