Bus driver denies charge in court after pedestrian injured

A BUS driver has appeared in court following an accident involving a pedestrian in Exeter city centre.
The collision happened on Cheeke Street on April 7, 2024, when a pedestrian, aged in his 30s, sustained serious leg injuries during a collision with a single-decker at about 4.10pm.
The driver of the bus, Roy Funnell, appeared at court in Exeter yesterday, charged with causing serious injury by careless driving.
