A FAMILY were treated to a close encounter with a friendly dolphin which joined them on their morning swim.
-
Lynda MacDonald, 50, and her partner, son and his girlfriend, set out for a 6am morning swim at Lyme Bay, Dorset.
Seconds after they jumped off their boat they were joined by the large bottlenose dolphin.
Family footage, taken on August 3, showed the playful marine mammal seemingly asking for belly rubs and interacting.
